Zoe Aerin likes music of all kinds. Her favorite genres are Pop and Rap being a close second. When she was very young, her high school friends introduced her to the iconic hit “Hit me baby one more time”, by Britney Spears. She heard that song for the first time and was instantly drawn into the vivid tones of the singer. Eventually she started listening to Britney’s contemporaries such as Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Back Street Boys amongest others. Zoe Aerin chanced upon one of Eminem’s famous songs “The Real Slim Shady” and was hooked instantly. She started loading up on all of Eminem’s famous songs in her iPhone and within less than a month, became the resident expert on Eminem in her class.
As she grew older, she started exploring the sounds of other famous Rap artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z and Nicki Minaj. But she kept being drawn back to Eminem as he was always her favorite. However her first love was always Pop and with the release of Taylor Swift’s “1989”, she became a Swiftie, following the artist on her twitter account and counting the days down to when her idol would come to her home town for a concert. She followed Taylor Swift’s 1989 world tour very closely and would always keep on following news articles about the artist.
